On behalf of our client in the roofing industry, we are looking for a Branch Manager to join their team in Halifax, NS.
The Branch Manager will oversee all aspects of the daily operations of the branch, ensuring high levels of productivity, customer service, and employee engagement. This includes liaising with clients on project estimates and progress, leading all branch personnel in each project phase from sales to completion, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. The Branch Manager is also responsible for overseeing the branch’s financial success by overseeing budgeting, reporting, invoicing and cost control, and by generating new business through networking and industry events.
The successful candidate for this position will have 5 or more years of experience in roofing construction and management. They are self-starters with strong leadership skills. They will have a well-rounded and outgoing personality, with an understanding of the business environment and the ability to engage in conversation over the phone and in person. Experience with preparing takeoffs and estimates for projects and supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives is required.
