Our client Is looking for a Boom Truck Driver/Warehouse Team Member for Dartmouth and surrounding area. They have been a trusted name in wholesale distribution for over 100 years. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate boom trucks safely and compliantly to transport material to/from customer and vendor locations
- Perform daily truck inspections and ensure all logs and safety documents are completed accurately
- Load/unload customer orders and ensure they are delivered curbside and securely
- Provide friendly, professional service at every stop, resolving any delivery issues efficiently
- Assist with warehouse operations, including picking orders, handling returns, and maintaining a clean, safe space
- Follow all laws and company safety procedures
- Identify potential sales leads during deliveries and report back to your manager
Required Qualifications:
- Valid NS Boom Truck Certification
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (post-secondary an asset)
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Class 3 License with Air Brakes Certification
- Knowledge of TDG Act and relevant commercial driving laws
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Calm under pressure, able to handle unexpected or emergency situations
- Willingness to operate material handling equipment and assist in warehouse functions
