About the Role
We are looking for a driven Outside Account Manager to join our Dartmouth/Halifax team. In this role, you’ll be the face of the company, building strong, lasting relationships with their customers and helping grow market share through outstanding service and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit customer locations (offices, shops, job sites) to understand their needs and provide value-added solutions
- Prospect and acquire new customers to grow your territory
- Lead the entire sales process—from strategy to execution
- Analyze customer data to identify growth opportunities
- Process quotes, orders, and handle issues like returns and payment concerns
- Collaborate with the Credit Team and Branch to ensure account health
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and vendor programs
- Maintain safety standards at all times
The successful candidate must be a quick learner and be as comfortable in the boardroom as they are on a construction site; a university or college degree is required. You will be provided with a base salary, profit share, laptop, cell, vehicle allowance, fuel card, benefits and RRSP matching. Territory is mostly in and around the Dartmouth/Halifax area.
