Surgical Sales Representative – Associate role

Our client sells an innovative and industry leading line of surgical devices and products. They are looking to hire a highly motivated and hard-working sales professional in Grande Prairie with a strong desire to grow their sales career in the medical surgical industry representing a technically advanced portfolio of surgical equipment. In this role you will achieve your territory sales quota by supporting surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff and working onsite directly in the OR at multiple hospitals throughout the Northern Alberta region (travel between hospital sites is required). You will handle case coverage (on-call work is required for trauma cases), respond to customer questions (both in and out of the operating room), and organize continuous medical education programs and training labs for new products and techniques. Your focus is on developing strong partnerships with surgeons, charge nurses, and hospital administrators and continuing to grow the business in this region.
An intensive and unparalleled 9-month product and sales training program including lab-based technical training sessions will prepare you to become a true expert on these devices, surgical techniques, and cutting-edge technologies that you will represent. Personality and drive are key to success.
A university degree is required, BSc or science related preferred, coupled with either sales or customer service, and/or experience working in a hospital or clinical setting with the desire to move into sales. Compensation includes base salary of $70-80K and commissions, monthly car allowance plus gas and parking reimbursement, cell phone allowance, company health benefits, plus annual salary increases based on achievement of KPIs (for training and for sales performance).

Remuneration
