Surgical Sales Executive

In this Calgary based role you will build and execute on a comprehensive strategic plan to exceed sales revenue targets on a quarterly basis while collaborating with management and marketing, and other business unit colleagues to identify and close revenue generating opportunities. Your mandate is to develop long-term relationships with customers, to own, lead and contribute to the strategic selling process, liaising with other strategic partners for account development. Your day will include:
- Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from your product and services portfolio.
- Promoting and establishing education of the company’s products and services.
- Implementing and executing launch plans.
- Providing OR and clinical support and coordinating schedules of CAS team to optimize procedural case coverage/patient programming.
- Conducting market research including customers and competitors’ activities.
- Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
- Managing and optimizing consignment inventory within accounts.
- Reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
- Managing hospital, SSO and GPO contracts (Pre-tender, Tender, Implementation).
Qualifications include a university degree with 5 years of relevant OR Med/Surg sales experience along with a network of established contacts at the hospital and the health region levels. Compensation is competitive and dependant on sales experience, including a salary of $100-120K plus commissions and accelerators with $180-200K+ TI and all the perks.
