Technical Sales Representative

The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) primary focus is the generation of project estimates (new construction/maintenance and repair) in addition to working collaboratively with account managers to support the RFP/RFQ process.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming customer RFP/RFQ’s with the account managers and internal Subject Matter Experts
- Review customer data sheets, technical documents, specifications, to facilitate necessary internal reviews, input from stakeholders in preparation of final proposal submissions.
- Prepare estimates, provide recommended project execution methodology as part of proposal responses to client inquiries and validate with internal interdepartmental leadership to gain support or redirection.
- Collaborate with external industry partners by preparing formal RFP/RFQ’s for third-party work scopes. Consult with preapproved industry partners to provide formal RFPs support to incorporate client project proposals as necessary
- Integrate proposals to respond to customer inquiries for formal and informal RFP/RFQ’s.
Qualifications
- Minimum a diploma in engineering.
- Construction experience is beneficial
- Previous customer facing experience
- Technically inclined, detail oriented, customer focused, strategic thinker
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines, ability to manage multiple client deadlines and internal commitments
- Have availability to travel to customer field project locations

Remuneration for this position will consist of a base salary between $75-85 commensurate upon experience in addition to bonus structure, appropriate expenses and a strong benefit program including RRSP matching.

Remuneration
