Role Overview: As an Outside Sales Representative, you will combine your passion for interior design with exceptional relationship-building and sales skills. With a busy and diverse schedule, you will have the opportunity to consult with and build lighting and plumbing product solutions for architects, designers, home builders, renovators, and clients in the design community. You will establish lasting relationships and leverage your sales savvy to grow accounts within your sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with architects, designers, home builders, and renovators to provide tailored lighting and plumbing solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the design community.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify client needs and deliver appropriate product solutions.
- Grow and manage accounts within your assigned sales territory.
Qualifications:
- Motivated individual with previous sales experience, ideally in a building products setting.
- Proven sales track record with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Strong networking, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with builders and the design community is a definite asset.
- Post-secondary education is preferred, but consideration will be given to individuals with relevant background and experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $60-70K, with a monthly commission structure targeting first-year income at $75-80K+.
- Automobile allowance and gas card.
- Comprehensive benefits program, including RRSP matching, tuition reimbursement, etc.
