This international energy company specializes in the supply of petroleum, petrochemical material, equipment and technology to the Canadian oil and gas industry.
As a result of growth, we are in an active search for a petrochemical sales representative calling on Western Canadian downstream oil and gas clients. This position would be based in Calgary.
Job Description
Execute business development initiatives and oversee project tracking for
- petrochemical products (e.g., paraffin wax, urea, ammonium sulfate, catalysts, etc.) within the oil and gas industry sector.
- Conduct regular client visits and potentially undertake business trips across
- Canada and potentially the USA.
- Communicate periodic updates on business development activity to the General Manager.
- Deliver reports detailing completed tasks, project development, and pertinent market insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the Canadian petrochemical industry, with previous procurement or sales experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian refining, petrochemical industry, market, and related commodities.
- Good customers contacts and product knowledge would be considered an asset.
