Territory Sales Representative
Summit Search Group is assisting our client, a Canadian company and Western Canadian leader in the Building Products marketplace, with their search for their next Territory Sales Representative.
Position Overview:
Based in Edmonton, the Territory Sales Representative will be asked to call on designers, contractors, builders, and end-users in an Edmonton, central Alberta and some North Alberta territory.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop relations with industry contacts to create specs for projects.
- Building and maintaining relationships with Key Accounts to enhance long term business prospects.
- Work within the organization to prepare sales proposals based on customer needs and expectations.
- Develops value proposition to address customer needs.
- New business development
 Qualifications
- Post-secondary education an asset however careful consideration will be given to an individual’s background experience
- Experience in flooring, interior building products or other related industries is a definite asset.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn product information
- Some overnight travel for business is required up to 20%
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills

Remuneration
Remuneration for this position will consist of a base salary Between $45-50K in addition to a commission program targeting first year income at $85-100K. A company vehicle and gas/maintenance card are also included in addition to a full benefit program.Position
