Territory Sales Representative

Our client is a long-established Alberta company in the building construction and supply industry. This is a full time Outside Sales position working out of the company’s office just east of Calgary. We are looking for someone who can deliver under pressure in a rewarding team-focused environment.
Are you an experienced building or construction products sales professional who is looking to make a change? You want to take your career to the next level by excelling in a sales position? You can bring your interest in construction and related industries forward covering a territory that encompasses southern Alberta maintaining long-term business relationships and cultivating new sales opportunities. A self-motivated, hard-working individual who is dedicated to growing their business and servicing their customers is an ideal candidate for this position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- New Business Development
- Account Management
- Strategic Customer Targeting
- Some travel within the territory
Requirements:
- Experience in the construction or building products industries is ideal.
- Although post secondary education is preferred, careful consideration will given to an individual’s background and experience
- Experience selling to builders, construction companies and end-users an asset
- Strong, driven, positive and upbeat interpersonal skills preferred.
- Efficient, reliable with attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Professional and exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
