Surgical Sales Rep – Junior Associate role

Summit Search Group is currently on the hunt for a Surgical Sales Rep. The good news is that elective surgeries are back on the schedule, and the even better news is that our client is busy and expanding their sales team in Northern Alberta.
Our client sells an innovative and industry leading line of surgical devices and products. They are looking to hire a highly motivated and hard-working junior sales professional with a strong desire to grow their sales career in the medical surgical industry and to represent a leading technically advanced portfolio of surgical devices and products. In this role you are responsible to achieve your territory sales quota and to support surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff by working onsite directly in the OR on a daily basis while engaging in continuous medical education programs and training sessions.
An intensive and unparalleled 6-month product (lab based technical training) and sales training program will prepare you to become a true expert on the devices, surgical techniques, and cutting-edge technologies that you will represent. Personality and drive are key. Some previous sales experience would be ideal, and a post secondary degree is required (ideally Science related). Compensation includes base salary of $60-80K depending on experience and commissions, $850/month car allowance plus gas, plus regular salary increases based on achievement of KPIs for training and for performance.
