The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing and Business Development is a highly motivated and engaging leader responsible for the development and execution of strategies to delivering exception results.
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Work with leadership to aggressively break down challenges and deliver results
- Explore and grow clean technology opportunities
- Develop strategies to strategically take risk and drive revenue growth
- Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing and business development team
- Develop diverse leaders and perspectives to achieve market leadership
Culture
- Enhance communication of goals and achievement internally and externally
- Energize teams with a fresh perspective
- Develop strategies to enhance market leading agility
- Extend the knowledge and understanding of culture drivers internally and externally
- Build long term relationships with employees, clients, government officials and stakeholders

Business Development/Sales
- Work with leadership to implement market-driven strategies to exceed revenue and strategic goals
- Aggressively manage Business development team performance to exceed goals
- Develop new and grow existing revenue lines
- Spearhead clean tech growth
- Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise aggressive counterstrategies
- Work with leadership on continuous improvement and standards setting of the bidding processes including account planning, new business development, RFPs, and revenue forecasting
- Develop and oversee partner channels that increase the company’s revenues and exposure to a broad prospect base
- Direct and drive market/business development research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market/business development data for short and long-term market forecasting
- Produce and present by-weekly BD/Marketing reports to leadership
- Work with finance the team for monthly financial forecasts on prospective projects being targeted
- Network at industry and social events to further develop business relationships with industry organizations, current and prospective clients, key suppliers, and potential partners
Marketing
- Devise and execute annual marketing plan to increase brand awareness and market share
- Aggressively market group of company using latest techniques and technologies
- Accelerate SEO performance
- Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns on social media platforms to create visibility in the target markets as well as drive interactions with prospective clients
- Create content and maintain company presence on social media platforms to ensure we are relevant socially and engaged in our industry driving interaction with prospective clients in our target markets
- Identify, plan, and execute differentiated and impactful marketing strategies to drive visibility and engagement with prospective clients that meet business objective and drive leads
- Manage the marketing/business development budget and expenditures
- Maintain branding standards and ensure compliance across all marketing/business development communications channels
