About Our Client: Our client is well established global organization that offers products and solutions in the workzone safety space.

 

Position Scope: As a result of our client’s continued growth, we are now looking for a high performing, dedicated and passionate sales professional to assist the organization enter new markets in Canada and the US. Please note, this role requires extensive travel (up to 75% of the time) within North America (once COVID restrictions are lifted).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Profiling new growth markets and making the business case for when and how to enter
  • Identifying and qualifying prospective Dealers for the company’s products
  • Executing Dealer Agreements and maintaining the Company/Dealer relationship to ensure performance to the benefit of all parties
  • Provide regular updates to upper management regarding overall company performance
  • Achieve sales growth and meet sales and profitability targets
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base, develops existing client relationships, and meets financial targets
  • Manage and develop a group of select key customers
  • Conduct monthly meetings, review performance and progress towards forecasted budgets

 

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Possess a strong business acumen and ability to think independently
  • Team player
  • Deep knowledge of sales management methodologies, processes and reporting requirements
  • Able to quickly build and maintain ethical relationships or networks of contacts with key customers
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a determination to succeed
  • Excellent analytical, time management, multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

 

Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma, preferably in business
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a fast-paced role at a senior level
  • Recent industrial sales experience is a must
  • Experience in managing key accounts
  • Construction industry experience is beneficial
  • Strong track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to travel within North America up to 75% (once COVID restrictions are lifted)
