Regional Sales Operations Manager

Great opportunity with an international SaaS data visualization company that helps us better understand the earth.  They have employees across 25 countries and are considered the defacto leader in their industry.  They are expanding their Vancouver based team and have partnered with Summit to find a Regional Sales Operations Manager.

The Role;

To support their rapid growth they’re seeking a highly motivated Sales Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for generating valuable insights from data that leads to better decision making within the North America business unit.  The role of the Sales Operations Manager draws on a wide range of sources from CRM, ERP and power BI software to develop material which informs and guides decisions.

This role will have access to numerous systems that track sales cycle, software entitlements and software usage platform to assist with the management of key accounts. You will work closely with both the Global office and the Regional Sales Teams in the process of developing accurate revenue forecasts. You will work closely with the segment leaders and the Regional VP in evaluating market drivers and trends.

In this role you will:

  • Work as a key member of the NAM regional team, aiding the management team on usage trends across the spectrum of solutions that leads to insights, decision making, retention and growth strategies
  • Drive business change by developing a keen understanding of the business, identifying core focus areas through data driven insights, and building trust with business partners
  • Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to craft and establish go to market strategy, own the modelling and implementation of sales territories and quota setting
  • Collaborate with and leverage feedback from Sales team and other stakeholders to proactively collaborate with Sales Operations Leadership on process and systems improvements
  • Plan and execute tactical elements of sales to develop best practices and continuously improve sales effectiveness
  • Drive consistent communications with the sales region around updates and important process changes.

What You Offer:

  • 5+ years of sales operations or sales strategy experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across digital channels.
  • Strong strategy, planning, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience working with sales and financial technologies (CRM, ERP, Excel, etc)
  • Highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Demonstrated strong Microsoft Excel competence, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, GETPIVOT and other functions
  • Demonstrated Microsoft PowerPoint experience sufficient to create and modify presentations.
  • Experience in working with remote teams strongly preferred
  • Experience working in sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis
