What you will do:
- Identify sales approaches to key markets, developing and executing sales strategies.
- Participate in the budgeting process and control salary costs, and expenses with budget guidelines.
- Oversee sales reporting and sales administration activities including follow up of allocated reports.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members.
- Conduct monthly group sales meetings to communicate sales strategy, plans and goals and conduct regular individual reviews with sales staff.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to outside plumbing sales staff by communicating job expectations, setting goals, and coaching.
- Recruit new customers and introduce product initiatives within a defined region.
- Develop and maintain existing customer partnerships.
- Prepare and present quotations.
- Conduct sales presentations to new and existing customers.
- Strategic planning experience.
- Excellent understanding of customer and industry dynamics and requirements.
- Demonstrated team building and leadership skills.
- Deep knowledge of the plumbing industry.
- Demonstrated prior plumbing sales experience.
- Strong decision-making, analytical, communication, and networking skills.
