Our client is a leading Canadian industrial distribution company for professional users with a long history of providing quality products and outstanding service from coast-to-coast. They have an immediate need for a Regional Sales Manager who has the ability to manage and lead the BC sales team. We are looking for someone who can drive the team forward and has genuine and professional communication skills for dealing with their valued customers and team members. Experience in the building materials industry would be helpful but is not essential. The RSM will report to the Vice President of Western Canada and be a key member of the executive team located in the Company’s Coquitlam head office.
Key Responsibilities
- P&L responsibility for the region
- Lead Region in Safety, Sales, Margin, Operations and Profitability
- Regional Inventory forecasting and Management
- Drive the Development and closing of new business with industrial and dealers by effectively helping your team use the company’s Value Selling Roadmap.
- Attainment of Management Business Objectives (MBOs)
Qualifications and Requirements
- Reading Financial Statements
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong business acumen
- Strong operational skills
- Well-versed in managing both Dealer and Industrial accounts
- Proven track record in negotiations and closing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation Package includes:
- Strong base salary between 120-130K
- Annual bonus between 30-45K
- Auto allowance, gas card, insurance
