Regional Insurance Advisor
Are you an experienced Insurance and Financial Products representative looking to join an award-winning top employer?
Our client is seeking a Regional Insurance Advisor in Nova Scotia to build and maintain strong client relationships with their physician, resident, and student clients in the province. You will be responsible for reviewing insurance needs with clients in hospital and clinical settings, analyzing coverage and identifying gaps, and presenting options to ensure appropriate coverage. You will also facilitate completion of member applications, address client queries and information requests, and provide market feedback from clients to appropriate internal teams. Maintaining strong working relationships with relevant medical associations will ensure you remain current on emerging trends and changes to the industry.
To be considered for this position, completion of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce or Arts with 6 years of experience in insurance sales and retirement planning is required. You must have a Life License Qualification Program certificate (LLQP), and preference will be given to those with a CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation. Successful candidates should have extensive knowledge in life and health insurance and acceptable insurance practices. We are looking for someone to bring a strong background in consulting, sales, and marketing! Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle, as there will be occasional travel within the province. Successful candidates will bring exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the drive for success!

This is a remote position, home office requirements will be provided as well as cell phone package and expenses are paid.
