Summit Search Group has partnered with our client on the recruitment of a Professional Services Lead, a key leadership role focused on the development, evolution, and delivery of Professional Services and technology solutions.
Position Overview
The Professional Services Lead is responsible for leading the growth, commercialization, and day-to-day execution of the Professional Services business.
This is a commercial leadership role, not simply a consulting delivery or people-management position. The successful candidate will be accountable for developing Professional Services into a scalable, repeatable, and profitable business by strengthening the service portfolio, increasing attachment to broader technology solutions, building strategic partnerships, enabling the sales organization, and improving overall commercial performance.
Working closely with executive leadership, sales, managed services, product, technical teams, and external partners, the Professional Services Lead will translate Professional Services capabilities into clearly defined market offerings and drive their adoption across the customer base.
The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience growing a consulting or Professional Services business and will have the commercial judgment, relationship skills, and operating discipline required to execute a growth strategy.

- Identify opportunities to expand revenue, improve profitability, and increase market penetration.
- Develop and commercialize repeatable Professional Services offerings that address customer needs and complement the broader technology portfolio.

- Evaluate existing service lines and identify opportunities to expand, reposition, consolidate, or retire offerings based on market demand and commercial performance.
- Identify new areas of opportunity within consulting, implementation, advisory, transformation, and technology services.
Sales Enablement & Revenue Growth
- Partner closely with sales leadership and account teams to increase Professional Services attachment across resale, technology solutions, and managed services opportunities.
- Embed Professional Services into strategic account planning and broader customer conversations.
- Equip sales teams with the knowledge, positioning, tools, and support required to effectively identify and sell Professional Services opportunities.

- Build greater alignment between sales, technical teams, delivery resources, and Professional Services.
Partner Ecosystem Development
- Develop and manage a network of strategic Professional Services, consulting, technology, and delivery partners.

- Build strong relationships across the Professional Services community in Saskatchewan and Western Canada.
- Evaluate build-versus-partner decisions when developing new service capabilities.

- Develop annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and growth objectives.
- Establish appropriate KPIs and reporting to measure the performance of the Professional Services business.
- Monitor service-line economics, pricing, resource utilization, delivery costs, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to improve operating efficiency and commercial performance.
- Make recommendations regarding investment in new capabilities, resources, partnerships, and offerings.
Customer & Executive Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and executives.
- Engage customers to understand strategic priorities, business challenges, and emerging consulting requirements.
- Represent Professional Services in strategic customer discussions and executive presentations.
- Ensure customer feedback and market intelligence inform service development and go-to-market priorities.
- Support the development of long-term customer relationships that extend beyond individual projects or transactions.
Operational Leadership
- Provide leadership and direction to the Professional Services organization.
- Ensure appropriate alignment between commercial strategy, resource capacity, delivery capability, and customer commitments.
- Establish effective operating processes across sales engagement, scoping, delivery, resource planning, and performance management.
