Our client is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Broker (Licensed) for their location in Bridgewater NS to service their Personal Lines Home and Auto Insurance clients in the region. This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of a winning team where workmates are like family!
This position is a client focused role where you would be providing excellent customer service to existing and new clients! The incumbent would be responsible for providing service to an assigned book of business, while cross selling and upselling additional products. You will need to be able to do a bit of everything, selling policies, making policy changes, answering phones, and of course giving insurance advice! This position would also include maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all client and insurer communications and promoting client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship-building within tight deadlines. You will be provided with the encouragement, tools, and support to reach your goals.
To be successful in this role, you should have your CAIB and/or CIP license, with 3-5 years personal lines insurance experience minimum. In addition, you should have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills, and strong analytical and decision-making abilities. You should also be adaptable and have a demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment! Having excellent computer/keyboarding skills and being proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook are a must. This is an in-office position, where you get to interact daily with teammates and new clients!
