Summit Search Group has partnered with a local organization based in Brandon, Manitoba who offer a 70,000 sq ft production facility. Our client is focused uniquely on flax seed-based Omega-3 production and development which allows them to be a leader in the industry. Through proprietary technology, our client produces the purest, tastiest flax oil that has unrefrigerated shelf stability no other producer replicates.
On our client’s behalf, Summit Search Group seeks to recruit a National Account Manager. This opportunity is perfect someone to use their creativity through knowledge of sales processes and to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally.
- Lead sales of bulk products in the food production/ingredients sector to achieve their sales targets.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary education in Business, Commerce, Agriculture or a related field.
- 5+ years managing a regional sales territory.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to overcome objections.
- Experience managing a high-performance sales team.
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required.
