Location Manager
Summit Search Group has partnered with a fast-paced, growing, independently owned crop input retailer who is currently looking for a Location Manager for their dual location business unit of Lajord & Lewvan. The successful Location Manager will be managing and driving growth of an innovative agriculture retail business, while leading a team of professionals and partnering with customers to ensure their operations thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, develop and lead the team while providing clear direction and aligning the team on the organizations mission
- Positively contribute to team culture through employee engagement initiatives and driving high performance to achieve team success
- Accountable for safety requirements and compliance
- Prepare, assess and report financial data
- Develop a sales budget and growth plan to maximize revenue
- Develop sales and marketing strategies, and partner with suppliers and internal procurement team
- Manage inventory and proactively account for future needs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years leadership experience with proven success motivating and leading a team
- 10+ years experience in agricultural retail
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, commerce, or business administration an asset
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid class 5 drivers license
