Our client is a leader in the sales and service of industrial and commercial fire protection systems and customized communication equipment.
We are currently looking for a Fire Protection Sales Representative reporting to the Sales Manager to join our Calgary office. In this challenging and rewarding role the successful candidate will be charged with increasing the commercial business and supporting the service segment of the Calgary operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide new sales and maintain existing customers
- Hit targets for Fire Protection sales and new business
- Coordinate with the sales manager and fellow sales representatives
- Communicate and determine goals and growth objectives
- Measure goals, praise success, and find ways of improving and overcoming obstacles with team members
- Communicate and discuss with peers and senior managers on improving business segment
- Create a safe workplace environment by enforcing our health and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in the fire protection industry
- Working knowledge of common fire and life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to, fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, fire extinguishers, kitchen hood suppression, etc.
- Build and maintain strong end-user customer relationships that position the company as their valued and trusted fire and life safety services provider
- Demonstrated leadership and selling qualities
- Proven ability to achieve results
- Product knowledge and effective communication skills
