Our client is an industry leader in high-quality vocational vehicles including dump vehicles, snow plows, trailers, van bodies, decks, and other service equipment. They are looking for a full-time ERP Specialist to join their team based in Toronto, Ontario. This is a remote position, with travel required.
In this role, the successful ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Specialist will be an expert in Epicor and will be responsible for all activities related to the training, analysis, best practices, system integration, development, support, and optimized usage of the ERP system across the organization.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Analyzing current workflows and implementing best practices across all businesses
- Providing hands-on training to end-users for all Epicor applications
- Assisting with on-going maintenance and support
- Working closely with employees at all levels to determine the requirements of their departments and the organization, ensuring that all project plans are adhered to
- Coordinating system integrations of data from other systems including the use of remote data or the automated population of external data and content into applications
- Providing thorough technical expertise, leadership, and effective persuasion to staff members
- Focusing on continuous development and improvement for all plant systems ERP software
- A successful candidate will need to use relationship management skills to work alongside key business stakeholders, identifying technical challenges related to the ERP system and developing creative solutions, working with key partners to implement them
- The ability to lead a cross functional team and take on projects
- Abiding by all health and safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- The ability to perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Expert in the use of Epicor Systems
- Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in implementing an enterprise software solution
- Understanding of software delivery processes and methodologies
- College Diploma or University degree with a Technical /Business Major, such as Computer Sciences, Commerce, or work-related experience
- Ability to influence and negotiate and build consensus with both internal and client staff
- Flexible and able to work effectively across all levels
- Self-directed and team-oriented, with proficient organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be committed to multi-disciplinary teamwork and demonstrate an ability to work through collaboration, joint decision making, and integrated strategies
- Experience, skill, or aptitude in a manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent written, verbal time management and interpersonal skills, with an effective approach in training
- Knowledge and experience of the software development lifecycle and the project management lifecycle
- Experience integrating multiple applications through workflow and other technologies
