Are you a forward-thinking, driven leader with extensive business and management experience? My client needs a highly motivated District Manager to lead their sales and operations divisions for one of their facilities in Edmundston! The incumbent should reside in the local area and limited travel will be required. The District Manager will lead the facility from a people perspective and ensure company values are incorporated into successful operations including safety, compliance, and personnel.
My client is a highly successful industrial services and recycling company with locations across Canada! For this role, the incumbent would be responsible for achieving operational and profit goals, managing customer relationships, and ensuring regional compliance to company policies.
The position would also include:
Maintaining SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
Establishing targets, reviewing KPIs, and managing costs
Working with the Operations team
Monitoring and establishing Safety Performance Levels
Supporting the Environmental Management System and OH&S Program
Managing Projects including workforce planning, coordinating/liaising with customers and contractors
Supervising the execution of designated projects from start to finish
Participating in the tender and quotation process in conjunction with the Business Development team
Coaching, Managing, and Creating a performance-based culture including employee training
Responsible for all P and L, and working closely with the Finance team to plan the Annual Operating Budget
Working closely with HR and Environmental Health and Safety.
To be successful in this role, the preference is for a post-secondary degree in a Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a technical discipline (or equivalent) as well as at least 7 years of Operations experience in a processing environment. In addition, you should be detail orientated, adaptable and have excellent interpersonal skills!
