Our client is over 100 years old and has a reputation for being the distributor of choice in the construction market. They are currently looking for a Commercial Technical Specialist in Charlottetown. They are a customer focused, results driven organization that specializes in residential and Commercial Plumbing and Heating.
This person would be responsible for supporting the growth of existing and new accounts in the PEI marketplace. You will provide technical support to customers and engineers, and exceptional customer service to the growing customer base of plumbing professionals. You will create commercial quotations, assist with training of staff and customers and be an integral part of the strategic development of new product lines.
For this position, the ideal candidate would have a Degree in Engineering or a CET, and strong technical aptitude with CAD or Excel experience. Junior and experienced candidates will be considered. The ability to read blueprints and familiarity with drafting would be considered assets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as is competency in prioritizing and evaluating data and technical instructions. You must have superior customer interaction and service skills. Most importantly we are looking for someone who can work in a team based environment with a positive attitude!
