Summit Search Group is partnering with a Global distributor of food products to identify a strategic Business Development Manager for the Northwest Ontario region.
Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager will prospect and identify new sales opportunities in Thunder Bay and surrounding region; work with internal partners on a successful transition process with a focus on regional sales growth and customer acquisition.
The ideal candidate brings:
- Motivated, self driven with territory management experience;
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in a fast moving consumer industry (FMCG);xperience in the food or hospitality industry would be considered an asset;
- Post secondary education;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel plus hands on experience with CRM;
- Strong understanding of margin calculations, P & L, expense management and other mathematical problem solving;
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle is required;
