Accountant
Our client, a leader within the North American Industrial Distribution sector, is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Edmonton.
Essential Functions:
- Month and year end requirements including journal entries, accruals and adjustments
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained
- Fixed asset control and management
- Margin integrity/daily review
- Calculate bonus and commission payments
- Provide financial analysis as required to the leadership team to drive improved decision making
- Support leadership in financial matters
- Process documentation and improvement
- Special Projects as required
Knowledge Skills & Attributes:
- Degree or Diploma with a focus in accounting is a MUST
- 3+ years of related experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Remuneration:
Remuneration for this role is a base salary ranging from 70-75K depending on experience plus annual bonus, a great benefit program and RSP matching with an incredible company.
